There are two mobile phones which are rivals from the time they were launched, and they have both a specific similarity which not only makes the mobile phones combat between them but also its producers or manufactures. They are the Nokia 5800 and Blackberry Storm. As the Blackberry Storm, the Nokia 5800 was the first touch screen gadget in the mobile manufacturer's portfolio, and both the gadgets have almost the similar specifications and features.

To start the Nokia 5800 mobile phone is a 3.2 inches touch screen gadget and the Blackberry mobile phone has generally the same display size however it is 0.05 inches bigger than the Nokia 5800 display screen. The major difference on the screen is obviously the Clickable Screen feature; however the Nokia 5800 lacks this feature and has a usual resistive touch display screen. The both the phone's camera have exactly the same Megapixel amount and both also have Auto-Focus and Flash features. The main difference is that the Nokia has Carl-Zeiss Optics and the outcome is apparently much better on the Nokia 5800 phone because of this difference.

Another big difference with the Nokia 5800 mobile phone is that the Blackberry is built out of metal on the back sides and back part of the phone; and also we can see that the blackberry phone has an excellent quality plastic. The Nokia 5800 phone surely looses here, the Nokia is built out completely out of plastic and feels actually cheap. Blackberry handset supports MMS, SMS, Email and Instant Messaging, the other one supports all except the Instant Messaging through which one can chat with his online friends and loved ones. Blackberry has an accelerometer sensor which is used for auto-rotating. This feature helps the users to take clear and sharp pictures from any direction. It is equipped with 128 MB RAM, 624 MHz Central Processing Unit and 1 GB storage capacity. With more storage memory capacity, you can save more number of files and data such as messages, images, Mp3 or videos on the gadget. This device also supports microSDHC and microSD cards and can be expanded up to 8 GB of external memory.

But a benefit that the Nokia 5800 mobile phone has over the Blackberry Strom Mobile phone is that the Nokia includes standard North American 3G for AT&T and WI-FI, on the other hand the Blackberry lacks WI-FI and that is the major disadvantage since WI-FI is the cheapest however fastest way for a better internet experience. The blackberry is mainly for the business class people and has several applications like MS word, Excel, PowerPoint etc but most of the Nokia phone lacks these features.

Deciding between the Blackberry and the Nokia 5800 is really tough, However the Blackberry mobile would be the best one because of its Clickable Touch Screen and its built quality that improves and makes the touch screen experience greater.
