BlackBerry returns to his throne and HTC sells 80% of mobile phones with Windows

RIM back to improve their sales and Blackberry has positioned itself as the best selling smartphone in the United States in the last quarter with a market share of 47%, improving their data by 7 percentage points.

The victim is obvious is not it? The Apple iPhone 3G, despite everything, remains in the fight which has a huge merit because each month in this area are sold each month and several new brands have a catalog of various models.

Another curious statistic that we have known in the Mobile World Congress is that Taiwan's HTC brand accumulates 80% of the sales of handsets with Windows Mobile. We were all aware of the link between HTC and Microsoft but these figures are indeed shocking.

We recall that Windows Mobile has more than 49 partners including leading companies like Samsung, Palm, Motorola and Sony Ericsson. Certainly, both Microsoft and HTC derive benefit from this relationship although the Taiwanese company known to gamble everything on one card is a big risk and it is also the leading manufacturer of terminals with the first Android and for the moment, is the only company to have this system in the street.
