HTC Desire US competition for Nexus One

It seems that at the latest Mobile World Congress, HTC has openly declared war with Google as far as their Nexus One goes; their weapon is the Desire US and the competition is actually looking pretty stiff specially since Nexus One was designed by HTC itself. The result of this is that the look of Desire is actually pretty similar to that of Nexus One and most of the features that this phone contains is also reminiscent of Nexus One.

This phone, the Desire runs on the Android operating system of the 2.1 version and has the other familiar but greatly desirable features of 576MB of memory and a 1GHz CPU (Snapdragon) and the 5 megapixel camera with the usual features of auto focus as well as flash. Besides this, the touch screen on the phone itself is a wonderful 3.7 inches one that is also AMOLED and supports resolution worth 480X800 of picture quality.

However, there is actually a difference between Nexus One and Desire, in case you have been wondering what the difference is- Desire does not have the feature of the Trackball and also HTC’s own feature of Sense UL. However, such a difference between the two models of phones are actually not decisive of the models’ qualities as these features that are missing in Desire are only a matter of one’s personal choices.

So even though the Nexus One and HTC’s Desire US is practically the same, there are some ways by which you can choose one over the other.
