Samsung launches the newest flagship Google Android handset

Samsung presents the new flagship of Google Android handset, the Galaxy Nexus, recently in a press event in Hong Kong. The Smartphone, elongated rumored to be the Nexus Prime, which will be the first phone to run the next edition of Android: Ice Cream Sandwich.

JK Shin, head of Samsung mobile communications, explained the nature of Galaxy Nexus with its " curved design, Super AMOLED screen and it also support to LTE, in some markets, Nexus will be available with HSPA +. It is a premium user experience which is combined with Samsung's best in class hardware. "

Samsung says it is focused on four aspects to the Galaxy Nexus: speed, display, design and operating system. The speed refers to LTE support for rapid mobile broadband and the 1.2 GHz dual core processor, by which the firms said that this is perfect for online video use. The big 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 provides a 100,000:1 contrast ratio as well as utilizes the standard 16:9 aspect ratio which is used for high-definition video.

The similar curve display from the Nexus S carries to the new handset and is only 8.49mm broad with a 4.29mm small window, so the larger screen makes the phone not too large. The rear utilizes Hyperskin textured design for better feel.

Other stipulations correspond to those which are revealed a few weeks before i.e., the Galaxy Nexus uses a1080p video capture and a 5 megapixel back camera for photos. While anyone cannot comment on picture quality, demonstrations illustrate the handset camera to be hasty (zero shutter lag) with multiple software features: face detection, auto focus, a new editing tools and panoramic mode.
