Diner Dash is a casual game which was developed by New York City development studio known as Gamelab and it was published by PlayFirst. Diner dash was one of the top selling games during the year 2004; later the game was ported to the mobile phones by the Glu Mobile. The Glu mobile gave a retail release and made the game available through a 100 percent advertising-supported download.
Several other versions also have been created for the iPhone, Nintendo and PlayStation Portable platforms. In the year 2009, Hudson Soft released versions for WiiWare, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Diner Dash is also used to mention about the Diner Dash Company that has developed and released several other versions such as "Diner Dash: Flo on the Go"; and "Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue' in the year 2006 and "Diner Dash: Hometown Hero"; in the year 2007.
Gameplay
Diner Dash is an action game in which you have to the role of the Flo, who is a stockbroker who leaves her job in order to run her owns a prefabricated restaurant (diner). Gameplay includes seating the customers and guiding the Flo around the diner to serve customers. If sufficient cash is earned after every level, you can move to the next round or level. When the game progresses the Flo updates the falling down restaurant, she starts with and builds 3 more restaurants that give new settings.
Gameplay middle around is catering to consumers within in a given period of time in order to collect as much cash as possible. Flo could be moved around the diner in order to finish the tasks. When the customers visit the restaurant, you have to drag and drop the customers onto a table, where they usually sit and read their menus. Later you have to guide Flo to the customer's table in order to take their order that have to be taken to the service hatch. Once the chef is ready with the meal, you have guide the Flo in order to deliver the food to the customers. As the customers finish eating their food, you have to have a check at which points the consumers leave their dishes and a tip on the table, departing the diner. The dishes have to be cleared or cleaned by Flo before the next group of customers could use the table. Every successful actions gives you points, performing the same actions again and again gives chain bonus that is broken once a unique action is performed.
Customers have a number of hearts over their heads which signifies their mood. When the customer is forced to wait for longer, the more heart he or she loses. Each customer has different moods, tipping habits and degrees of patience. If the Flo stands at the dais, it will get all these hearts.
Seating a group of customers on the bench and serving drinks also keeps the customers happy. When they lose all their hearts, they will depart from the restaurant, costing you more points. The goal of the game is to earn good number of points in order to win the game.
