Mobile Network security tightened up by Juniper

The Networking vendors Juniper have come up with the latest technology to help with security issues for mobile connections and to show their support there are also some big names in service providers who have already joined hands with Juniper on the project. Mobile network security has become more and more important with each passing day because of the increasing number of businesses and enterprises conducting their work through the wireless mobile networks.

The main aim is to secure all mobile data and for this securing the mobile device itself is important but so is the security of the network transport infrastructure whose security needs to be maintained. Therefore both ends of the mobile equation are important to be secured and Juniper’s new technology deals with this- the result of this kind of a technology to maintain the security of the network is that Verizon as well as Sprint have signed up for this project with Juniper.

The Junos Pulse downloadable secure connection technology is the one that Juniper is launching to make the network connections more secure; and to secure the phone data of the mobile devices the company will launch the SRX service gateways. The company believes that when a client uses a particular mobile network company then it becomes the company’s responsibility to ensure the security of the mobile device itself as well as the network and applications that the user would be making use of through the company’s network. Hopefully there will be more big names taking up this technology as well.
