A wholesale application community has been developed

You might take a little bit of time to actually get all the information in at a go but the truth is that there was a very important step that was taken at the latest World Mobile Congress. Here, a combined decision was taken by over twenty four wireless carriers for mobile phones from around the world (and mind you these are among the world’s largest and most popular) which means that a combined user population of more than three billion people from around the world- their announcement was that all these companies are actually going to join hands and forces to create the world’s first and largest wholesale application community.

The basic purpose of this kind of a worldwide community is that application and software developers from around the world will be able to write and supply applications as and when they can and please for all kinds of mobile phones from all around the world, without having to worry about the platform that the application is going to be used on. Some of the major carriers that have joined the combined forces here include Verizon, China Mobile as well as AT&T and Vodafone too. Device managers that have also joined the community include such big names like Samsung and LG as well as Sony Ericsson. Of course there are benefits and profits for everyone concerned and thus so many big names from around the world have joined the community to unite together, however the big question is whether they will all be able to work together peacefully.
