The figures that shuffled the organizers of this annual global event in the world of telecommunications and consumer computing are spectacular, though slightly lower than last year. The number of exhibitors that 6411 is distributed in 27 blocks covering an area of 334,168 meters squared.
The event, which will remain open until March 24 this year takes place in a climate of greater confidence about sales growth, after three negative years for the global economic downturn and uncertainty geostrategic.
The fair organizers expect some 600,000 visitors, slightly less than last year due, among other factors, the depressed economic environment in Germany, which constitutes the bulk of the public for this annual event.

CeBIT's origins date back to 1947, when a development company, Deutsche Messe, was created. In the 50s the show took its first steps integrated into the Hanover Industrial Fair, as a sign of "office supplies".
