Windows Mobile 7 will hit shelves in 2010

Windows mobile Durant a conference call, Steve Ballmer said that Windows Mobile 7 would be on the market before 2010, which is not a novelty in itself. He has clarified certain elements cons about sharing code between Windows Classic and Windows Mobile, which is much more interesting.

Microsoft CEO has indicated that in the future, the two operating systems share many more technologies, including "browsers, presentation services and even in the future, the nucleus and the sum of these technologies increase with time. Those who follow the news think immediately MinWin.

MinWin is the minimal system beyond which Windows can be reduced. This is what might be called the basic system, fully autonomous and free from any superfluous. We know that Microsoft has big ambitions for MinWin, including into a common denominator for all Windows and the company has barely concealed its intention of benefiting the Mobile version.

The remark of Steve Ballmer on services is also interesting presentation. It does not exist that much, and one can imagine that this could be even WPF or Silverlight.
